The final polls released before the first-in-the-nation Iowa Caucuses offer a wide assortment of narratives for the candidates vying for the Republican and Democrat presidential nominations.

The flurry of polls have outside observers wondering what to make of the race just hours before Iowa voters go their precinct caucuses. Here they are:

Des Moines Register/Bloomberg “Iowa Poll”

Republicans: 602 likely voters—1. Donald Trump 28%, 2. Ted Cruz 23%, 3. Rubio 15%, 4. Carson 10%, 5. Paul 5%

Democrats: 602 likely voters—1. Hillary Clinton 45%, 2. Bernie Sanders, 42%, Martin O’Malley 3%

Quinnipiac University

Republicans: 890 likely voters—1. Donald Trump 31%, 2. Ted Cruz 24%, 3. Marco Rubio 17%, 4. Ben Carson 8%, 5(t). Rand Paul 4%, 5(t). Jeb Bush 4%

Democrats: 919 likely voters—1. Bernie Sanders 49%, 2. Hillary Clinton 46%, Martin O’Malley 3%
