Which Candidate Will Protect Your Daughters?

An O’Fallon, Missouri man was arrested on April 23 after allegedly secretly filming women in a Target dressing room.

Matthew Foerstel, 26, faces felony charges for invasion of privacy in the second degree and unlawful possession of a firearm.

The Brentwood Police Department arrested Foerstel on April 23 after he allegedly held a camera phone under a dressing room door while a female shopper tried on swim suits at the Target store in Brentwood.

An officer went to Ranken Technical College to place Foerstel under arrest and reportedly found him in possession of a loaded handgun.

In 2013, Foerstel was convicted of invasion of privacy in St. Charles County for “knowingly and intentionally” filming an 11-year-old girl while she was partially nude inside a department store dressing room.

Foerstel served a one year sentence for the offense in the St. Charles County Jail.

We have reached perhaps the most bizarre point in our nation’s history.

We have five people running for president. Of those five, only one is committed to keeping sexual deviants out of our daughters’ bathrooms, locker rooms, shower rooms, and dressing rooms.

We are referring, of course, to laws and policies (like Target’s) which allow so-called transgendered individuals—that is, males who are so sexually confused they think they are women—to use facilities quite appropriately reserved for females. This opens the door to men who only pretend to be women to enter such facilities for sexually pernicious purposes.

The real problem here is not with transgenderism. The real problem is males who will use policies designed for transgenders to gain access to places where females should have the expectation of privacy.

This is far from a theoretical issue despite the attempts of otherwise intelligent pundits like Charles Krauthammer to wave it away. I have a stack of at least 15 stories in which men masqueraded as women, gained access to women’s facilities and engaged in criminal sexual behavior, all the way from video voyeurism to rape.

Just two days ago, I read the story of a 19-year-old man who used a cell phone in a woman’s restroom to spy on a 10-year-old girl in the adjacent stall. In our brave new world, he won’t even have to sneak into the ladies’ room anymore. He can simply self-identify as a woman, enter the women’s restroom and hang out with his video equipment as long as he wants to.

On the Democrat side, both Hillary and Bernie are wholly committed to the agenda of the deviancy cabal.

On the Republican side, Donald Trump is all for letting men “use the bathroom that they feel is appropriate,” even if it happens to be the one your daughter is using at the time. John Kasich said flatly he would “probably not” have signed North Carolina’s bathroom privacy bill.

Only Ted Cruz has taken a stand against this sexual insanity, asking the perfectly legitimate question, “Have we gone stark-raving mad?”

This simplifies the presidential campaign enormously. If a president is not committed to keeping sexual perverts out of little girls’ bathrooms, it doesn’t in the end much matter what else he stands for. If a candidate gets this wrong, I have very little interest in any other part of his agenda.

Why on earth would I vote for a candidate who has openly declared that he is willing to put the sexual integrity of the women in my family at risk? I repeat, how in the world could any right-thinking father or mother possibly vote for a candidate like that? To even consider the possibility of casting a vote for such a person is a form of insanity, a spectacular form of disconnectedness from morality, reality, biology and everything we know to be true about human sexuality.

A voter would have to tell himself a staggering number of lies even to think about voting for a candidate who has no interest in protecting the sexual privacy of America’s girls and women.

I know not what course others may take, but as for me and my house, we’ve voting for the guy who will keep our daughters and granddaughters safe.
