Wednesday evening, President Donald Trump met for the first time Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel.

The opening moments of their meeting were opened to the press, during which both political leaders made very brief comments. The president, however, focused his comments on the ongoing fight against terrorism—a fight he says will be won.

“We will work together on various problems,” the president said. “No. 1 right now is terrorism. We are fighting very hard, doing very well under our generals and making tremendous progress.

“But when you see something like what happened two days ago, you realize how important it is to win this fight. And we will win this fight. It’s a horrible situation—what took place is horrible, unthinkable—but we will win, 100 percent.”

You can see the entire exchange in the video clip above. {eoa}
