President Donald Trump made a promise to veterans during the 2016 election campaign to crack down on bad employees in the VA.

Two months ago, he signed an executive order to hold those bad employees accountable. But now he’s about to sign into law a piece of legislation that will codify much of that executive order, making it easier for his administration to remove those employees.
