WikiLeaks: 3 Big Lies the Clinton Campaign Made Her Friends Tell

For those keeping score at home, WikiLeaks is now more than halfway through its “document dump” of its dossier of 55,000 “Podesta Emails.”

One of the latest reveals is a Sept. 24, 2015, email from Adrienne Elrod, a spokeswoman in the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign’s “rapid response group.” In it, she issues “Friends & Allies Talking Points” regarding recent news articles by Bloomberg News and The Washington Post about Clinton’s private email server.

Here are the Bloomberg talking points, as distributed in the email:

Assuming the Bloomberg report is true, the reason the FBI may be able to recreate these emails is exactly because, as the tech company that maintained Hillary’s server has said, the rumors that steps were taken to “wipe” the server’s contents were never true.

Even if FBI can indeed recreate her personal emails as Bloomberg reports, they are unlikely to be released publicly as they are not work-related. Remember, the Justice Department just said in court two weeks ago that they did not have a basis to seek access to her personal emails, since the regulations required that it be Hillary Clinton who separated her work emails and personal emails—and she had no obligation to keep her personal ones.

Hillary Clinton turned over her work-related emails. She directed her legal team to sort through her emails and provide any that might potentially be work-related; and, the State Department has already stated that more than 1,200 emails based on their review were personal and would be returned to her as they need not have been given in the first place.

We believe the Justice Department should be allowed to conduct its independent, security-related review process without interference. Chuck Grassley, who is attempting to compete with Trey Gowdy in making partisan attacks on Hillary’s emails, should stop trying to interject himself into the process to score points.

And regarding The Post article:

Nothing in this story contradicts what Hillary Clinton has said. The Post is reporting on a verbal notification that the State Department made last year to Clinton’s personal attorney, indicating that it might be requesting a copy of Hillary Clinton’s emails from her time as Secretary. As Clinton has explained, the State Department later formalized that request in writing via a letter to all former Secretaries of State, asking them to provide any work-related correspondence they still had in their possession. Clinton complied with that request in full; indeed, she was the only Secretary of State to provide any emails.

As has already been reported, several key Clinton allies were less than pleased with the lack of transparency the candidate had provided over the email scandal. One can only imagine how “happy” they must have been to learn these talking points included three big lies:

1. “As the tech company that maintained Hillary’s server has said, the rumors that steps were taken to ‘wipe’ the server’s contents were never true“—as we now know, the open-source program BleachBit was used to eliminate all traces of the emails that were once contained on the server—after a congressional committee asked that they be held as evidence.

2. “Hillary Clinton turned over her work-related emails“—FBI director James Comey said the FBI recovered “several thousand” work-related emails that Hillary failed to turn over to the State Department.

3. “Clinton complied with that request in full“—According to the FBI’s investigation report, she directed her legal team to delete “several thousand” work-related emails.

Clinton continues to tell these lies, and then lies about whether or not they are lies, to this day. In fact, The Daily Caller has documented 35 blatant falsehoods perpetrated upon voters on her campaign website—click here to read them.
