Saeed Abedini Waxes Prophetic on Trump vs. Clinton Presidential Race

The United States presidential election closely mirrors God granting Israel kings, pastor Saeed Abedini says.

“If they were walking with God and were depending on and repentant to God, He allowed them to rule accordingly,” Abedini says in a recent Facebook post. “If people were wicked, God gave them a wicked leader. If they were humble they would get a humble leader.”

While many prominent Christians have publicly endorsed a specific candidate, Abedini refrained. The formerly imprisoned pastor chose, instead, to keep his focus on the Word of God.

“Today’s churches are full of business, and I see people are so busy with money and business in the US. So, will our avatar be a businessman or businesswoman? There is no changing the Lord’s ways, and he rewards us according to our walk,” Abedini writes. “So I believe instead of finger pointing at them, it’s better to see our own problem’s first. God will gave us a king who is maybe even better than us in their heart.”

If Americans want to honor God with their vote, Abedini shares these words of wisdom.

“First we need to humble ourselves before God before we can expect others to humble themselves. We need to stop judging and take care of our own problems.”
