#BlackLivesMatter ‘Day of Rage’ Video Hints at Mass Violence Friday

Police officers salute the hearse as they attend the funeral of slain Dallas police Sgt. Michael Smith in Dallas

Amid rumors of a #BlackLivesMatter “Day of Rage” in nearly 40 American cities, Alveda King is calling for acts of love, repentance and kindness from America’s “one blood.”

The New York Post claims the Department of Defense on Thursday issued a “stern warning” to its personnel to steer clear of Friday’s demonstration outside the White House protesting the recent spate of fatal police shootings across the country.

“Please be advised the [US Northern Command] has issued a threat advisory informing DOD personnel that a series of protests has been scheduled to be conducted across the United States on July 15, 2016,” the statement reportedly reads.

I was not able to independently verify this and some media outlets are calling it a rumor. I did, however, find a video that clearly calls for protests and hints at violence. I also verified police forces across America are preparing for the worst.

And according to the Washington Times, last week the Army warned all military personnel in the United States to avoid 37 American cities this week over concerns that anti-police protests, dubbed “Days of Rage,” are planned and could turn violent.

“For security reasons, we don’t discuss force-protection measures that we put into place at our Army installations or the specifics of cautionary advice we provide to our soldiers,” he said. “However, the advisory was to provide situational awareness for all Army personnel within the U.S. Northern Command area of responsibility who may find themselves in the vicinity of any protests (planned or spontaneous).”

Thirty-seven cities are listed on the “Day of Rage” protest report.

As we all know, this video and rising online chatter could cause people to pick up this cause even if it started as a rumor. Tensions are high. We’re on the brink of race wars in our nation.

Wisdom dictates steering clear of the parks, plazas, courthouses, capitol buildings and other locations in the cities listed—and other metros—in the report.

Wisdom dictates an attitude of repentance and prayer.

“Friday, across America there will be memorial services for men who lost their lives in an American tragedy last week,” King told me. “Immediately after come the conflict-riddled political conventions. There are rumors of more rage-filled protests, and there are rumblings of prayer and praise abounding. We mourn with the families of the deceased and implore Americans to unite as the Acts 17:26 ‘one blood’ in repentance, love, unity and kindness to avert more violence and bloodshed in the days ahead; for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness from the womb to the tomb.”
