The Empowered21 Global Congress Bethlehem event slated for Friday, May 21, has been canceled by city and government officials in that region. The congress events at the Jerusalem Pais Arena have been extended on Friday, beginning at 3:30 p.m. Daniel Kolenda, president and CEO of Christ for All Nations, will be the general session speaker. In honor of Shabat, the Jewish Sabbath, the general session will end prior to sundown.

Kolenda is a contemporary preacher who has spoken to millions of people around the world through massive open-air Christian meetings in some of the most remote locations on earth. Kolenda is a fifth-generation preacher and graduated from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida and the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry in Pensacola, Florida.

The Global Congress will continue with a special service on Saturday, May 23, at the Jordan River at the spot where it is believed that Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. This part of the river also narrowly divides the nations of Israel and Jordan. Christians will gather on both sides of the river to pray and worship God together in unity.

On Sunday, May 24, attendees will spend the entire day in continuous worship and prayer at several points around the city of Jerusalem including the King of Kings Community.

The Global Congress will end Sunday night in a grand Pentecost celebration at the Pais Arena. This will be a special impartation service for the next generation and everyone seeking the power of the Holy Spirit.
