Empowered21 gathered select, significant next-generation leaders under the age of 40, from over 12 nations, in Miami, Florida from Jan.18-20, 2018, for global strategic planning, relationship-building and intergenerational mentoring at the E21 2018 Next Gen Global Summit.

“This is an exciting time for the Spirit-empowered movement globally,” said Billy Wilson, the President and Global Co-Chair of Empowered21. “The Spirit is moving worldwide, and a tremendous number of young people are hearing the call and rising up to take their place alongside current leaders. The future looks bright.”

The event gathered young leaders from Argentina, Australia, Costa Rica, Ghana, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Russia, South Africa and the United States to share dreams, ideas and resources from their specific regions. The collaborations and budding relationships formed during the meeting will allow these young leaders to more fully unleash ministry worldwide in unity.

“I felt that it was important for me to come all the way here, not only to hear what God is doing all over the world,” said Pastor Chadwick Mohan of New Life Assembly of God Church in Chennai, India, “but also to build relationships with these leaders. We are all doing so much in our own worlds, but I am excited to explore what happens when we collaborate in unity.”

The attendees were able to share regional challenges, key outcomes, strategic and tactical needs, ministry opportunities and generational insights. One of the most important moments was having some of the “fathers of the movement” minister and pray over the leaders as they look toward the future.

Also attending the international gathering were a few Empowered21 global participants who would be considered “fathers of the movement.” These fathers were able to share practical and spiritual wisdom and insights to the younger generation of leaders: Billy Wilson, Oral Roberts University (USA); Claudio Freidzon, King of Kings Church (Argentina); Alan Platt, Doxa Deo (South Africa); Rich Wilkerson Sr., Trinity Church (USA); Philip Kitoto, International Christian Centre (Kenya); and Stephen Christiansen, Jesus Church (Norway).

“It was truly an honor to be in the room and hear what the Lord is doing around the world right now,” said Rob Hoskins, CEO of One Hope and E21 executive next gen liaison. “These young men and women are some of the key leaders that will take this Spirit-empowered movement to the next era and season via a global move of the Spirit.”

The global event was hosted by Hoskins; Pastor Rich Wilkerson, Jr. of Vous Church and Rich Wilkerson Sr. of Trinity Church.

Attending the global collaborative were: Heath Adamson, Convoy of Hope (USA); Daniela Freidzon-McCabe, King of Kings (Argentina); Gibson Anduvate, International Christian Centre (Kenya); Maximiliano Barroso, IPHC (USA); Alberto Bello, New Creation (USA); Jamie Corcoran, Lighthouse Church (Ireland); John-Paul Foster, Faithful Central Bible Church (USA); David Grabovenko, The Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith (Russia); Anton Kra, Kharkiv Christian Church (Russia); Jurie Kriel, Doxa Deo (South Africa); Chadwick Mohan, New Life Assembly of God Church (India); Nathan Morris, Shake the Nations Ministry (USA); Billy Njotorahardjo, GBI Bethany (Indonesia); Terry Parkman, River Valley Church (USA); Assif Reid, Every Tribe (USA); Esteban Solis, Evangelistic Center/ Fe Urbana (Costa Rica); Dan Steege, International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (Australia); Josh Surratt, Seacoast Church (USA); Daniel Tassone, Jesus Revolution (Norway); Roberto Torres Cedillo, Christian Broadcasting Network (USA); Josh Turner, Celebration Church Orlando (USA); Ben Woodman, Alpha Canada (USA).

The next E21 Next Gen Global Summit will convene Jan. 22-24, 2019, in Dubai and in Jerusalem May 31-June 3, 2020.
