Bishop John Francis and Pastor Niko Njotorahardjo spoke to a crowd of thousands Thursday, May 21, during the evening session of the Jerusalem 2015 Global Congress at the Jerusalem Pais Arena.

Thursday marked the first full day of the Jerusalem 2015 Global Congress. The day began with a morning devotion and general session, followed by the first half of 40 ministry tracks spread throughout the Pais Arena between noon and 3:00 p.m.

“We praise God for the opportunity to partner with Spirit-empowered leaders at the Jerusalem 2015 Global Congress,” said Empowered21 President and Global Co-Chair William M. Wilson. “Anointed believers from all across the globe are gathered in the Holy Land to worship corporately and seek the face of God. Thousands of hearts have been stirred and rekindled for His kingdom during these gatherings.”

As a demonstration of the diversity of delegates attending the congress, Wilson introduced seven young people who were invited to pray a short prayer in their native language. Languages included French, Portuguese, Spanish, Hebrew, Mandarin and English. Everyone was then invited to join together in concert praise, which filled the arena packed with approximately 4,000 delegates.

Special musical guests were Planetshakers rock and worship band from the Planetshakers City Church in Australia, one of the fastest-growing churches in the nation. The band presented a 30-minute package of contemporary Christian worship prior to the introduction of the evening keynote speakers by Wilson.

Presenting the first message was Francis, founder and senior pastor of Ruach City Church in Brixton, South London. Ruach is one of the fastest growing churches in the United Kingdom with over 5,000 attendees each week.

Njotorahardjo is senior pastor of Gereja Bethel Indonesia and president of Healing Movement Ministries in Asia. He addressed the gift of speaking in tongues and people came forward for a powerful time of ministry.
