A freelance photographer captured what appears to be a heavenly apparition when photographing the Sept. 11, 2001, commemoration.
Rich McCormack followed the beams of light representing the Two Towers with his camera. At the very top of the beam, a robed figure appears.
“I did a double-take not knowing really what it was, but as I zoomed in it almost looked like a vision of the Lord with His arms crossed. I got very emotional and I got tears in my eyes,” he said.
McCormack told his social media friends he took several pictures that evening, but the figure was only in one.
Some say it’s Jesus Himself while others say it’s an angel.
