‘The Mayor of Murder City’ Vows to Defy the Law and Incite Violence if Roe v. Wade Is Overturned

Former President Donald Trump was accused of insurrection for allegedly inciting a riot on Capitol Hill on Jan. 6, 2021, a charge that has never been proven. And the Left continues to hound him and criticize him for something he may or may not have done.

Yet the Left is proud of its leaders for doing the same thing Trump has been accused of. The latest evidence is assumptions from lesbian Democratic Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who posted this week on Twitter a “call to arms” for the LGBT community, and also those who are pro-abortion, to rise up after it was leaked last week that the Supreme Court may overturn Roe v. Wade.

“To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community — the Supreme Court is coming for us next. This moment has to be a call to arms,” Lightfoot tweeted. “We will not surrender our rights without a fight — a fight to victory!”

Lightfoot also vows, according to a report from Fox News, that Chicago will become an “oasis” for abortions if Roe v. Wade is overturned. So, in essence, she is proclaiming that she will defy the laws of the land.

Some of those who have slammed Lightfoot for her words say that Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives for “far less.”

“Example 1,354,678 that today’s Democratic Party is evil,” wrote Fox News contributor Lisa Booth.

“Words of a seditionist inciting violence against the Federal Judiciary branch of the government,” political commentator Rob Maness tweeted.

“Sounds like incitement and insurrection to me,” former Air Force pilot Buzz Patterson wrote, pointing to Democrats and other leftists who frequently use similar phrases to criticize Trump and other Republicans.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz tweeted a hashtag referring to Lightfoot’s tweet as “DemMobViolence.”

Texas Scorecard publisher Michael Quinn Sullivan wrote, “If this isn’t a call to insurrection, what is?”

Musician Five Times August tweeted that Lightfoot’s Twitter account should be removed for “inciting violence.”

Fox News reported that “other critics blasted Lightfoot by referring to Chicago’s high murder rate and suggesting her priority wasn’t the safety of her constituents.

“‘You’d think she’d be more concerned about her crime riddled city but here she is gaslighting and inciting,’ wrote conservative commentator Rita Panahi, while another conservative commentator, Matt Walsh, wrote, ‘Not satisfied with the murders just in her own city, Mayor Lightfoot calls for more violence across the country.'”

One columnist, Derek Hunter, wrote: “The Mayor of Murder City has a call to arms. She has her priorities … and none of them are her constituents.”
