As a three-star general in the United States Army, Jerry Boykin never believed in his lifetime he would ever see a pro-Marxist movement in America. It’s what he fought against during his 36 years in the military, including 13 years as an original member of Delta Force.
Gen. Boykin was involved in a number of combat operations during his time in the army, and he has now become a passionate warrior for the gospel of Jesus Christ, encouraging believers to become warriors for the kingdom.
Boykin is appalled at what he has seen America become. Due to poor leadership, he says, we have seen the rise of groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matter. We have just witnessed a great atrocity in Afghanistan under President Joe Biden, with the Taliban overrunning the country again without so much as a fight.
But Boykin still believes in America, and he still believes that if true believers make an ardent stand for Christ, we can turn the tide of the evil that has befallen our country in recent times.
“What is happening here is that our country is going through the most turbulent period we have seen since the America Revolution,” Boykin told me on a recent episode of the Strang Report podcast. “We are seeing the Marxist movement in America that our generation said it would never allow—a Marxist infiltration in our nation. …
“We see it within our own Congress, that they are openly and proudly admitting that they are socialist. Read socialist as Marxist, because that is the economic pathway to Marxism/communism. Let me say that this can largely be attributed to the feckless nature of the church in America today. It’s not all churches, but generally speaking, when you talk about the church, it has not done what it has been called to do and what is expected by God. And now, I think we are paying a price for it.
“But this is also an opportunity for the church to shine. If we can get back on track and get the church back to what it’s supposed to be and find Christians that not only love God, but have the courage to stand up at a time like this and stand against the evil that has been brought into our country. This could be our finest moment.”
Certainly, we have seen a lot of darkness shadow the land in recent years. Boykin says the Biden administration has added to the gloom with his deficient leadership.
“It’s not just the commander in chief, the President, it’s the whole administration,” Boykin says. “It’s elements of the military and certain elements of the State Department. What we have done over there is one of the most depressing and disgusting things I’ve seen in my 73 years on this earth. He (Biden) is surrounded by people who are giving him some very bad advice. He’s surrounded by others who have probably given him the right advice. But he won’t listen to them because of those that are part of this Marxist movement. I think what you are seeing can all be attributed to a lack of leadership at multiple levels.”
I really respect General Boykin. He is probably one of the highest-profile retired military people in our nation’s history, at least in the Pentecostal charismatic world. He has been strong for years, and we truly thank him his service to America.
We still have freedom. There are an awful lot of people that are God-fearing who have not bowed their knee to Baal, so to speak.
The enemy believes he has gotten the upper hand. But in the end, we all know who comes out the Victor. That’s why we need to stand strong. With everything that’s going on, we simply can’t be passive.
