Oklahoma police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a pastor’s burned body, which was discovered outside his church Friday morning.
First Missionary Baptist Church of Chickasha pastor Michael Dean Walworth was found dead between the church and a residence, police say.
They do not yet know what caused the fire or his death.
“The thoughts and prayers of the members of the Chickasha Police Department are with the family and friends of Pastor Michael Walworth during this most difficult time,” according to a release.
Police say it’s an isolated incident with no immediate danger to area residents.
