The next generation of Pentecostal and charismatic voices are gathering in Virginia Beach this spring.

Empowered21 USA is partnering with the Society for Pentecostal Studies to bring scholars, Christian leaders and next generation voices together at Converge21. The event is being held at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Va., Feb. 29-March 3.

“America is in desperate need of a 21st Century spiritual awakening,” says Billy Wilson, executive director for the International Center for Spiritual Renewal and Empowered21 and Chair of the E21 USA cabinet. “This invitation-only event is one way of setting the table for renewal as key leaders, scholars and next gen voices converge on the campus of Regent University to focus on and help shape the future of the Spirit-empowered movement in the United States.”

During the four-day event, more than 100 learning conversations will address critical issues facing the movement. As Dr. Carlos Campo, president of Regent University, sees it, the opportunity to bring together intergenerational, multi-denominational leaders to bless a new generation with the power of the Holy Spirit is transformational.

“We are filled with anticipation that there will be a powerful move of God among scholars, ‘next-gen’ leaders and Christian leaders as we together seek a fresh revelation from the Lord,” Campo says. “We believe that C21 is a gateway to revival in America and across the globe”

Robert Morris, the founding and senior pastor of Gateway Church, a multi-campus, evangelistic, Spirit-empowered church in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, is the keynote speaker for the opening session on February 29. Worship at C21 will feature the likes of Ricardo Sanchez and Band, Jared Anderson, Denise Graves and David Edwards.

Other general session speakers include George Wood, Assembly of God USA; Jerry Macklin, Church of God in Christ; Alex Hurt, Harvard University; Nick Hall, Pulse Movement; Jack Hayford, The Kings College; Mark Williams, Church of God; Ron Luce, Teen Mania; Wayne Hilsden, King of Kings Community, Jerusalem; Sami Awad, Holy Land Trust, Bethlehem and Kristopher Gonzalez, 17% Movement.
