John Allen Chau, who lost his life this past November as he sought to bring the gospel to the people of North Sentinel Island, will receive a special honor next month. As part of its annual fundraiser event, All Nations, a missions organization whose vision is to see Jesus worshipped by all the peoples of the earth, will pay tribute to the missionary martyr.

Listen to our far-reaching podcast of the story behind John Allen Chau’s decision to reach the North Sentinelese below.

At the April 5 gathering, an All Nations staff member will perform a song he wrote in Chau’s memory. It depicts Chau and members of the North Sentinelese tribe worshipping around the throne of Jesus. All Nations Executive Director Joshua Johnson fully believes this vision will come to fruition.

“It’s a beautiful song, and we know that it will come to pass one day,” Johnson said on a recent episode of “Charisma Connection” on the Charisma Podcast Network. “We know from Revelation that every tribe, tongue and nation will worship around the throne of Jesus, and we can see it coming to pass that John will be with the North Sentinelese when that happens.

“We’re going to share that song and have a time of prayer for the North Sentinelese people to find Jesus and be redeemed.”

Keynote speaker for the event will be Jamie Saint, grandson of Nate Saint who, along with four other young missionaries, was martyred in 1956 while attempting to bring the gospel to the Huaorani tribe in Ecuador.
