Human Rights Commissioner Mocks God and Christians Amid Resignation

Sometimes the celebration of Jesus at Christmastime really does bring out the worst in people. Especially when those people are trying to cancel Christmas.

Recently, reports circulated that a library in Dedham, Massachusetts, had banned the annual Christmas tree from being set up because it made some unidentified people “uncomfortable” the year before.

It was not until Lisa Desmond, branch supervisor at Dedham Library’s Endicott Branch in Dedham, posted the Facebook rantings of Diane Loud, who was appointed to the Dedham Human Rights Commission by the town’s Commission on Disability.

In Loud’s profanity-riddled post, she accused Desmond and others of risking the lives of residents by bringing national attention to the tree banning.

“For a tree? For a ______ tree? You have put people’s lives in a lot of danger. A LOT of danger,” Loud posted.

Charisma News will not be posting the link to Desmond’s Facebook post due to the shear amount of Loud’s profanities contained within it.

Loud continued speculating who all had a hand in making the cancelled Christmas a national news item saying, “I hope [you know] the fact that you—who claim to believe in Christ and Christmas or whatever happy _________ you’re trying to hide behind—are the least gracious, most hateful, most disgusting trash in the world.

“Is this what you think your magic sky daddy wants? Where in the Bible was this again?” she continued.

Desmond pointed out that the library had previously celebrated all holidays, herself participating in the Juneteenth celebration earlier in the year.

As reported by local news outlet Patch, Loud herself actively participated in the LGBTQ pride event hosted by the town and the Human Rights Commission, and she was joined by her child Max who, “discovered his transgender identity at the age of 13.”

“I think it’s really important for everybody to be celebrated and feel affirmed,” said Loud at the 2022 Pride event in Dedham.

Well… not everybody.

Here is another example of the rapidly increasing aggression and violence directed toward Jews and Christians across the world. The lie that no one wants to “cancel Christmas” is disproven on a daily basis with activists trying to shut down nativity scenes, Christmas trees and anything that has to do with Christ in the Christmas season.

And it is no longer just a holiday issue, either. Pro-life pregnancy centers are being bombed, conservative politicians are being attacked on stage (Lee Zeldin) and Twitter recently proved that conservative voices were being silenced for years, even while that fact was aggressively denied by many parties across the news media and political spectrum.

It is about more than just a tree going up in a library. It is about a worldwide, concentrated effort to silence and remove anything that acknowledges the sovereignty of God and His grand design for humanity.

Christians worldwide must put 1 Peter 5:8 into action, even during the Christmas holiday: “Be sober and watchful, because your adversary the devil walks around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” {eoa}
