Freedom of Speech 231st Anniversary: Battle Just as Crucial Now as When Ratified in 1791

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Over the course of American history, thousands have given their lives to protect this fundamental, God-given right.

Today, in modern America, free speech is under assault with the cooperation of the federal government, Big Tech and the mainstream media. Speech that does not fit one particular narrative is silenced, while its counterpart is promoted.

As America celebrates 231 years of free speech, religion, press, assembly and the right to petition the government, it must stay vigilant of those who look to strip those freedoms away.

Controversial Pastor Deleted from YouTube, Christians Take Note by James Lasher

With a warning to Christians that they need to “wake up,” Locke announced that YouTube had not suspended or deactivated his channel, they had deleted it completely.
