Floridians Memorialize Teen Trayvon Martin

Mary Habersham photographs a memorial dedicated to Trayvon Martin near the site where he was killed in front of The Retreat at Twin Lakes community in Sanford, Fla., Tuesday. The 17-year-old was shot Feb. 26 by neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman. The 28-year-old claims he acted in self-defense, but Martin’s family says otherwise. The case now has national media in a frenzy, and many claim it is a racial issue. New details continue to emerge a month later, and Zimmerman has still not been charged.
