Brownsville Revival Revisited: 2 Million Came, and 200,000 Were Converted for Christ

A recent video captures a California gathering where Mario Murillo calls people to Christ. Multitudes come running. The video is running wild on the internet.

I had the distinct honor of witnessing this same type of phenomenal event two or three times weekly for 60 months during the Pensacola Revival. As scores came from across the world, we shared that it was a repentance-based move of God stemming from three non-negotiables: Humility. Hunger. Holiness.

Steve Hill, the indefatigable evangelist who preached nightly, is now in heaven, but in my study I see my friend’s smiling face from a picture next to my desk. I can still hear his powerful voice proclaiming, “It’s time to get the sin out of your life!”

Video Reveals Chaos and Fear of Those Trying to Escape Horror in Afghanistan

The continuing reports of chaos and horror following The Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan continue to pour in.

This video, posted on Twitter by Jack Posobiec, a former Navy intelligence officer and senior editor of Human Events, shows the bedlam and pandemonium at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul as the terrorist group used its brute force to overcome anyone in its way Monday. It was sent to him by a Pentagon reporter, Jeff Schogol, who received it from an Afghan citizen on the ground in Kabul.

Some people and U.S. military personnel were able to make it out of the country Monday, while others, including American and foreign missionaries and Afghan Christians, are still stuck inside the country and left to an uncertain fate.

Baffled Reporters Confront Biden Administration on Targeted Missionaries in Afghanistan

At a White House briefing by National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan earlier this week, believers confronted Sullivan directly on the fate of Christian missionaries and aid workers abandoned to a potential death fate in Afghanistan.

The decision by President Biden to pull American soldiers from Afghanistan led to the overrun of the country by the Taliban, and reports of the above-mentioned people and others being in harm’s way keep trickling in.

Since the takeover, the Taliban’s atrocities have been reported. One church leader was even quoted as saying, “The Taliban are going to eliminate the Christian population of Afghanistan.” {eoa}
