Christian Cardiologist to Host ‘Encounter Night’ in Florida

Christian cardiologist Dr. Chauncey Crandall will hold a “Healing & Encounter Night” Feb. 9. An associated EventBrite page notes that Crandall is “an evangelist and healer” who “has pursued a lifestyle of ministry around the world to the sick and dying.”

The event will be held at the Tanah Keeta Scout Reservation in Tequesta, Florida, according to promotional material supplied by the event’s coordinators to Charisma News.

At a previous healing night, a man named Todd Shoemaker testifies in a Vimeo video that he was healed of vocal impairment and an inability to run.

“Dr. Crandall and others prayed over me, and for the first time in three and a half years, I actually felt a hunger pain,” Shoemaker says. “I actually got my voice back. I hadn’t been able to speak in four years without the assistance of a machine to help me speak. … I know that God can do this for you, can do this for your family [and] can do this for your friends.”

The event—which starts at 6 p.m. local time—does not require registration or payment, and free parking will reportedly be available.
