Bishop Eddie Long has settled another lawsuit. This time, it was related to a real estate venture. The lawsuit claimed he and his partners defaulted on a $2 million bank loan.

The settlement closes one more chapter in a difficult year for Long, who also offered a financial settlement to four young men who accused the senior pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church of sexual coercion.

Long and two partners in West Indies Holding Co. LLC obtained a $2 million loan from a Macon, Ga., bank to acquire a commercial property in Jonesboro, Ga. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the bank failed but its acquirer, State Bank & Trust, filed suit in Oct. 2010 to recover $1.9 million, along with interest and fees.

Long and his partners agreed to pay the remaining balance, plus more than $100,000 in interest, as much as $102,690 in property taxes and about $300,000 in attorneys fees by Jan. 2015, according to the Journal-Constitution.

Long on Thursday was also scheduled to give a deposition in an unrelated sexual harassment and discrimination case filed against his church and an employee, WSBTV reports.

Long was not immediately available for comment.
