Take a moment to put aside church politics, denominational boundaries and religious back-and-forth. Instead, take a moment to put your faith into action and cry out to Jesus.
That’s the heart of Pray Together 2016, which aims to recruit 1 million Christians to intercede for the country on July 10.
The event will kick off Together 2016, which will gather 1 million believers to the National Mall to cry out for a reset.
“At the heart of Pray Together Sunday is the belief that Jesus changes everything. He offers us a reset—restoring us to our original design—and he can reset this generation,” according to the website.
Six ways you can participate:
- Pray this simple prayer: “Jesus, show me how You want to reset my life.” Then invite Him to do so!
- Pray for a reset of your church, that you will be aligned with God’s will and purposes in every way. Pray that Jesus is exalted and honored in all things.
- Pray for your pastors and leaders as they teach the Word of God and lead your congregation in embracing the call for a reset to Jesus.
- Pray for all the plans and preparations for Together 2016 as well as for those who will be speaking, leading in worship and praying. Pray that Jesus will be the only agenda.
- Pray that Together 2016 will be a historic gathering in D.C. and that an entire generation will be reset to Jesus.
- Pray for a reset of our nation to Jesus. We’re asking God for another Great Awakening, because Jesus changes everything!
