Samuel Rodriguez Prophesies Healing, Deliverance Over Denver AG Church During Fresh Fire Conference

Watching Assemblies of God Pastor Samuel Rodriguez pray at the inauguration of former President Donald J. Trump, a Pentecostal pastor and his wife agreed their Colorado church would someday host the fiery Hispanic preacher whose powerful presence filled the television screen.

“The power of God fell. I looked at her and said, ‘Someday at the right time, this man has to be at Word of Life,'” Pastor Tim Bagwell said, introducing Rodriguez at the church’s Fresh Fire Conference.

Rodriguez, pastor of New Season Christian Worship Center in Sacramento and president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, prophesied that revival is coming to Colorado and the nation.

Voice of the Martyrs Founder Reveals Chilling Story of His Own Christian Persecution

Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand were Jewish Christians from Romania who were imprisoned, mistreated, and (especially Richard) brutally tortured for their unwavering faith. They would not bow the knee to the spirit of the age. They would not submit to the godless communist agenda (or any other godless agenda). They would only bow the knee to Jesus.

But they did not suffer hardship and imprisonment because of a one-time, cavalier act. They did not just wake up one day and say, “Let’s do something radical for Jesus.” Instead, year after year, they determined to obey the Lord, regardless of cost or consequence. Then, when the great crisis came, they were ready to obey once again.

When the Nazis occupied Romania, Richard risked his life preaching the gospel, being arrested and beaten for his unflinching faith. Then, in 1944, the Nazis were displaced by the Russians, who began to establish their communist regime in Romania, with one million soldiers occupying the country. Then, the great test came.

Why Are These Antithetical Cultural Theories Accelerating Within the Body of Christ?

Various “theories” and theologies not found in the Bible are gathering momentum—indeed accelerating—within the body of Christ. These theories and theologies are wholly antithetical to the fundamental tenets of the gospel of Jesus and thus undermine the church.

So, why do they accelerate and proliferate?

Most churches have strived with some success at evangelizing and spreading the gospel message. By evangelizing, we mean communicating to non-Christians the saving knowledge of and desire to trust in Christ for eternal life. Making a church’s primary goal to evangelize can be called “evangelicalism.” But, vital and important, “evangelicalism” is actually not the primary task Jesus encouraged and admonished us to do. In fact, Christians’ primary goal is disciple-making, also called discipleship. {eoa}
