Larry Tomczak’s Week in Review: Why Joe Biden and Simon the Sorcerer Share Similarities

Joe Biden is about to turn 79 and is in trouble—and so is America.

What caused the change of Biden from a traditional marriage, pro-life, tough on crime, moderate Democrat senator into the most radical president in U.S. history?

Like Simon in the book of Acts, he has no moral code anymore even though he professes to be a Christian, like the manipulative figure confronted by Peter. Yet God is exposing his fraudulent actions.

Dedicated Missions Leader Howard Foltz Dies at 83

Dr. Howard Foltz, who, along with his wife, Pat, founded Accelerating International Missions Strategies in 1985 and who co-founded the original World Teen Challenge in Dallas in 1963, died October 31 at age 82 of a non-COVID-related illness.

Foltz, a devoted and faith follower of Christ for 62 years, developed a great passion to see the Great Commission become the Great Completion. He was a sought-after speaker who traveled to over 100 countries to bring a challenging message of missions and the love of Jesus to pastors and leaders.

The Foltzs founded AIMS with the purpose of challenging and mobilizing churches to take the gospel where it has never been proclaimed. AIMS has trained over 170,000 pastors and leaders worldwide to engage in a cross-cultural ministry and church-planting movements among the world’s least-reached people groups, while thousands of churches have been planted by indigenous partners.

Alveda King Receives More Ammunition to Carry On MLK’s American Dream

The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) has announced the addition of Dr. Alveda King as the Chairperson of the Center for the American Dream. This announcement was first unveiled at the America First Gala, which occurred at Mar-a-Lago on the evening of November 4.

AFPI’s Center for the American Dream will advance policies that enhance civil rights, human dignity, and the sanctity of life in order to ensure that all Americans have equal access and opportunity to achieve the American dream—from the womb to the tomb!

Shortly after this announcement, Brooke L. Rollins, AFPI’s President and CEO, remarked, “There is no person better suited to lead AFPI’s Center for the American Dream than Dr. King, and we are absolutely honored and humbled to have her join our team.” Rollins continued to note that, “Not only does Dr. King’s own experience embody the American dream, she has dedicated her life to ensure that all Americans have the opportunity and access to achieve the American dream.” {eoa}
