The Power You Can Experience by Walking in Intimacy With the King

When Wayland Henderson discovered the power of walking in an intimate relationship with Christ, he began to wonder why it took him so long to pursue it.

Henderson, co-founder with his wife, Jeanette, of The Gathering Kingdom Center in Arlington, Texas, says that when you walk closely on a daily basis with Jesus, with it comes the ability to discern the mysteries of the kingdom and, in turn, to reach multitudes for the kingdom.

It’s what Henderson teaches on his podcast, Keys to Walking in Kingdom Culture, on the Charisma Podcast Network.

“When you learn to walk in intimacy with the King, he actually brings you into His counsel to reveal His ways,” Henderson told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “When we come into our places of influence, then we will walk in power and authority.

“Many don’t realize the power we have that comes from the Lord. And it is in your time with the Lord when He begin to reveal to you just who you are. When you allow that to be seen in your everyday practical life, the Lord will begin to open up things you may have never thought possible. …

“You don’t necessarily have to be a leader, but what this shows is that Jesus’ heart is to walk with all of us until we begin to manifest His nature. No matter who you are in the body of Christ, God wants to walk with and disciple you on a personal level so that you can begin to manifest the kingdom.”
