Randy Clark Assures Believers That God Still Heals Today

Many believers, just like those in the New Testament church, are convinced that God isn’t in the business of healing people today. International itinerant minister Randy Clark says he’s seen too many healing miracles around the world to ever believe that myth.

The founder of Global Awakening, which teaches people to receive the full power of God, Clark says the healing power of Jesus is as much alive today as when Jesus Himself ministered to the masses. It’s just that people must believe it—and receive it.

Clark has written several books about the subject, including The Healing Breakthrough: Creating an Atmosphere of Faith for Healing, released in 2016.

“I have had the experience of knowing the difference between the atmosphere where it’s less likely anybody is going to get healed and the atmosphere of where it’s very likely that somebody is going to get healed,” Clark told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “On my last trip to Brazil, I had an experience where about 500 people were there, and the number of people healed was about 50%.

“It was electric,” Clark said. “You could feel the faith of 500 people trying to get in. There was no room. It was packed. But the next night, we went to another church, and there were about 25 people when we got there, and there was no faith at all. … You could feel the opposite. I mean, you could feel the doubt and the lack of faith. And it was in a Pentecostal church. I remember saying, ‘This is not the way you build faith.’ …

“I told them, ‘My faith isn’t your faith,’ Clark said. “‘My faith isn’t in your ability to come to faith. I stand before you tonight and tell you that my faith is in my God who has the ability to do things in this meeting that will cause you to come to faith. And my faith is in what He can do.’

“In most cases, I want churches to know is that they don’t have a bad theology about healing,” Clark said. “They just don’t have enough experience. So you don’t have to deal with theology or be in a church where they’ve got this bad theology that makes it almost impossible for them to believe. You need to deal with this before faith can grow. And that’s where I love doing healing skills. You go into a church, and you have like four days and 24 sessions. We did this in the largest Baptist church in Brazil, and [their faith] just exploded.”
