With American society drowning in a sea of pornography and murdered unborn children, Promise Keepers is calling on all godly men to go on the attack against the enemy.
Promise Keepers’ CEO Ken Harrison says the organization is declaring war against Satan to eradicate porn and call them to repent of sexual sin. It will also take on the issue of abortion and help single women in their efforts to raise kingdom young men.
“Josh McDowell says that 85% of men in society look at pornography more than twice a week, and 70% of the church does. That’s unacceptable,” Harrison told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of “Greenelines” on the Charisma Podcast Network. “Part of it is because we are not teaching God’s Word. I mean, pastors need to start calling men out. But we need to encourage them and not condemn them.
“First Peter tells us to not go back to our former ignorance, but to ‘be holy as I am holy, says the Lord.’ We forget that Jesus said, ‘If your eye causes you to stumble, cut it out.’ That’s a pretty harsh word, but we need it, because it’s just killing our society. Men need to start to purify themselves and repent before the Lord.
“We’re also going to take on abortion. There’s never been an abortion in the history of the world that a man didn’t have something to do with. Men, we can change the world if we just obey God’s Word.”
Promise Keepers will kick off its huge campaign against porn and abortion on July 31, 2020, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and is expecting 80,000 men to attend and join in the fight.
“Men are going to get inspired with boldness and understand that the way to boldness is humility,” Harrison says.
