Kathy DeGraw knows what it’s like to be shackled with fear. That spirit gripped her for a good portion of her life, she says.
But once she found deliverance from that demonic spirit, DeGraw not only experienced the freedom she desired for her own life, but God gave her the tools to help others discover it as well. It’s what she teaches in her new book, Unshackled, and on her podcast, Prophetic Spiritual Warfare.
Kathy now teaches others, through some of her e-courses, warfare strategies and techniques to overcome the enemy, and to “clean house by arresting the strongman that has been occupying those places in your spiritual house.”
“Everyone has fear, and we don’t always realize it,” DeGraw told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “I personally was bound in fear for 40 years, so I’m passionate about helping every person root out every ounce of fear they have.
“If you’ve been rejected, you have a fear of rejection,” she says. “If you had had financial situations that have been in your favor, then you have a fear of poverty. If you haven’t gotten a promotion, there can be pride, which is behind a fear of not being accepted. My passion for everyone is to root out every fear so that you’re not tormented, so that you’re not traumatized, so that you can really be who you want to be—uninhibited and not held back by anything.
“And the Lord, by just removing the fear from my life, changed my life. I want it to change yours,” DeGraw says. “Fears are a root cause of everything we face. If you could get set free from fear, then it’s going to set you free from everything else.”
