As one of God’s generals of the faith, Prophet Chuck Pierce sees it coming: The enemy is ratcheting up his attacks on the church and our society. The year 2020 has been a rough one, and things are about to become more and more challenging, especially for believers.
From COVID-19 and racial disharmony to recent Supreme Court decisions that have mocked the will of God, Pierce says the enemy now, more than ever, is trying to discourage and burden Christians as well as distract them from their kingdom purpose and destinies.
But in the end, he says, we know we have the victory.
“We have no clarity of agreement over stopping what the enemy is doing right now. And therefore, he continues to take advantage,” Pierce told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “He continues to sway thought processes. He is a legalist, and he’s continuing to find ways to legally stop what God is trying to do. And that’s what the Bible says: He will wear down our mind through legalism by changing times and laws.
“I see that if ever we have hit a year where the enemy is trying to wear us down, it’s right now,” Pierce says. “And what [the enemy] is trying to do is keep this bloodshed of our future in place. … The enemy is trying to remove the future from us and control what we’ve got. Something has got to come to a new level.
“I just had a meeting with leaders, and I said, ‘There is a place of intercession that we haven’t gotten to that we’re going to have to reach,'” Pierce says. “What’s happening is that all of a sudden, there is an influence that comes in, uses a legality and thwarts the next move of God to secure a good future for those who are too weak to secure it for themselves. It’s using bloodshed to do it. That is what is causing us to go into much of the infirmity that is loosed throughout the world now. We have got to come into that place where we realign ourselves and find how to overtake the enemy.”
