Why Holy Spirit Made This Evangelist Wait Before Stepping Into Healing Miracles

Do you feel God has a big calling on your life but no doors are opening? Evangelist Bernie Moore has an anointing to preach the gospel, heal the sick and release the oppressed—but he first had to go through a serious test of waiting.

On the “Salvation Today” podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network, Moore tells Chris Mikkelson that believers must be in tune with the Spirit before they take their first step into ministry. He recalls a time where he had big desires and goals for his life, but God hadn’t fulfilled those yet—and yet he continued to wait on the Lord, believing He would take him into the promise in His timing. And, he adds, God sees you.

“I had these grand dreams and visions that I knew that I knew the Lord was calling me to. And I knew that God was going to open up the door. But I told the Lord, I won’t go anywhere. … unless He blesses me, unless He sends me out. And sure enough, you know, just over a year, and three or four months later, miraculously that happened. …

“The Lord spoke to me and said, ‘I always hear your prayers. Matter of fact, I hear the prayers of all my children.’ Sometimes we think, Man, I’ve been praying for this for, you know, two weeks. Really? The children of Israel have been praying for 400 years. But the Lord, He moves on His time.”
