What May Be Keeping God From Answering Your Prayers

Share:

Have you ever prayed to God and then wondered, Now what?

“Did it work? Did God hear me? Is there anything that I need to do now?”

The short answer is yes.

Most of us spend the better part of our prayer life focused on what to say. But what if the answer to most of our questions about prayer was actually more about what we do?

When you look at how Jesus responded to people’s requests, most of the time the work was not done when they asked; It had only just begun.

In my latest book After Amen: What to do When You’re Waiting on God, I go over 7 things Jesus tells us to do. (You can even get it on Audible!)

What’s interesting is that the Gospels not only tell us what to do after we pray, but they even explain to us why God may not answer us in the first place.

In the most recent episode of my podcast Leading Simple on the Charisma Podcast Network, we go over one very common thing that keeps God from even considering our prayers (take a listen here).

And spoiler alert: It’s something we can fix pretty quickly. {eoa}
