Tracy Morgan: God Spoke to Me in My Coma

Tracy Morgan returns to the SNL stage after his car wreck.

Celebrities and fans alike united their hearts in prayer when actor and comedian Tracy Morgan lay in a coma after a devastating car wreck nearly took his life a year ago.

Now, Morgan opened up to Complex about how God spoke to him while he was away from the world, opening his heart and mind to things above.

“You don’t die for a few weeks and then come back to normal, trust me,” Morgan says. “Something’s going to be missing, something’s going to be gained—you just got to live your life after that. But after surviving something like that, I’m probably never going to feel normal. I went to the other side. This is not something I’m making up.”

Something else Morgan says he’s not making up? He says God told him there was more he needed to accomplish here on Earth.

“Do you know what God said to me?” Morgan asked. “He said, ‘Your room ain’t ready. I still got something for you to do.'”

It looks like God heard the prayers sent out via social media with the #prayfortracymorgan. After his June 2014 car wreck, Morgan returned to the Saturday Night Live stage at the end of October.
