Shawn Bolz: Gift of Prophecy Exploding Among Believers

Share:

The next move of God will be marked by an unprecedented outpouring of His voice in the lives of believers. There is a powerful shift, and people from all walks of life will openly share their divine encounters through news media, interviews and personal testimonies.

There is a rising tide of prophecy and our ability to hear God’s voice. It will reveal how this movement will shape our generation of Christianity like never before. It is not a charismatic vs conservative thing, it is not a Protestant vs Catholic thing, the Holy Spirit is pouring out across humanity connecting people to God’s original intention that God created us with which is to activate our internal wiring to hear His voice.

There is going to be an outpouring of God’s voice and in this next move of God. We will witness a remarkable increase in people hearing from Him. This widespread experience of divine guidance will empower individuals to make life-changing decisions, redirect their paths, make extreme changes away, and find their true identity in Christ. Scripture reminds us of the importance of listening to God’s voice:

“My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27, NIV).

The gift of prophecy is going to be a marker over the next 10 years, advancing Christianity and humanity and empowering believers in places of society that they have never held before.

As this movement gains momentum, the gift of prophecy will flourish, and there will be more believers who believe that God is speaking than those who do not. There will be tons of movies, music, teachings and mainstream projects that will encourage people to develop their ability to hear from God. This collective shift will create an unprecedented impact on Christianity, transforming lives and communities around the world. The apostle Paul writes:

“Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy” (1 Cor. 14:1, NIV).

Overcoming the barrier of doubt isn’t going to come by people hearing fulfilled prophecies of others, but is going to come mainly through each believer having their own experience with God’s goodness through personal prophecy. As more and more people encounter fulfillment in revelation, they will be able to put more faith in the corporate words that will come forth. These words will be awe striking and also they will bring the fear of God for what God is about to do on the Earth.

Some believers may feel disconnected from God’s voice, questioning their ability to hear from Him. However, God is going to show that everyone who is hungry has the capacity to connect with God personally, both through the Bible and through His voice.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you” (Matt. 7:7, NIV).

Just like in the book of Joel, Joel prophesied that there would be a prophetic generation (young men would have visions, old men would dream dreams) we are coming into a time where there will be so much compatible revelation across Christianity, that it will be like a symphony of God’s voice.

As we anticipate this powerful movement, let us embrace the symphony of voices that will arise, united by their divine encounters and shared experiences of God’s guidance. We must encourage one another to cultivate our connection with God, recognizing that His voice is accessible to all who seek Him:

“Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” (Jer. 33:3, NIV).

March CM CoverAs we stand on the precipice of this extraordinary move of God, let us embrace the outpouring of His voice in our lives and the lives of those around us. By seeking His guidance, cultivating our ability to hear from Him and sharing our experiences with others, we can become a part of a symphony of voices that will shape our generation of Christianity in ways the world has never seen before.

Let us move forward in faith, and trust in the power of God’s voice to lead and transform us.
