Children’s network Nickelodeon will flaunt a gay couple on cartoon Loud House, according to several reports.

The series tells the story of Lincoln, the only son in a house with 10 sisters. In the episode “Overnight Success,” set to premiere Wednesday night, Lincoln invites his friend Clyde McBride over for a slumber party.

Clyde shows up with his two gay dads, according to EW

“This is it. Time to make history,” Lincoln says, according to TIME.  This is not the first time a same-sex couple has been featured on children’s networks, however.

Nickelodeon’s Legend of Korra boasted a lesbian relationship between lead Korra and another character, Asami. Further, Disney Channel featured a lesbian couple in an episode of Good Luck, Charlie.

Cartoon Network premiered Clarence in 2014, which had a main character raised by two moms and featured an episode in which two men kiss on the cheek, according to LifeSiteNews. Cartoon Network also airs the “genderqueer” cartoons Stephen Universe and Adventure Time.

Most Twitter followers have praised the move, just as they hooted and hollered over hashtags like #GiveElsaAGirlfriend and #GiveCaptainAmericaABoyfriend.
