Leah Remini will continue to speak out about the Church of Scientology until people realize just how destructive the cult is, she says.
“We believed that as Scientologists we had the answers and everybody else was lost. This is about a doctrine that calls to destroy people’s lives when they speak out,” Remini said.
Her show, Scientology and The Aftermath, was renewed for a second season.
Remini says she will “continue to tell these people’s stories until somebody steps in to do something about it.”
Season 1 featured never-before-heard interviews with former members who exposed the reality about the organization.
“It’s a cult. Everything in Scientology is written down in thousands of pages of policies that you have to follow; you’re not allowed to think for yourself … There’s no questioning,” Remini said. {eoa}
