Actor-turned-Christian motivational speaker Kirk Cameron told an audience America is not necessarily in its final days, despite significant commentary from other prominent Christian leaders.

“People think we are in the last days of America,” Cameron said. “Is it too late? No, it’s not too late. It’s not impossible to turn it around, but there’s no time to wait any longer. We are nearing the point of no return, but we’re not there yet.”

Indeed, his words seem contrary to prophetic predictions detailed in Matthew 24. However, Jesus also said those were the “birth pangs” of the beginning of the end.

Anne Graham Lotz expressed similar sentiments in a recent chat on DayStar.

“I don’t think we are too far gone, but I believe we are reaching the point of no return,” she said.

Americans are not to dawdle and avoid repentance.

“But we must lean in, double down and engage ASAP because we’ve been coasting for too long,” Cameron said.

Believers around the country have made appeals to heaven to call the nation back to God. Next week, 1 million people are expected to gather at the National Mall to proclaim the name of Jesus for Together 2016.
