Justin Bieber Bows to Muslim Prayer Call

Pop superstar Justin Bieber halted his concert in Turkey twice on Thursday night so that his religious fans could observe their prayer call. The Baby hitmaker took to the stage at Instanbul’s ITU Stadium for the latest concert on his Believe tour, but took time out from performing to respect the Muslim members of the audience.

Editors at E! Online claim Bieber stopped the show twice so the crowd could honour Azan, the Islamic call to prayer which traditionally happens five times a day. Fans of Bieber took to Twitter.com to praise the star for his decision and the singer later shared a picture of the audience on his own page on the site, adding, “Turkey was right.”
