In a day and age where biblical values are no longer the norm, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn says the people of God have been called to the Elijah paradigm.
“See, Elijah didn’t follow the status quo,” Cahn said at the Charisma Conference over the weekend. “Elijah was radical, was prophetic, was revolutionary. We have moved from the days where the people of God can be status quo to the days where we must become prophetic. We must become radical. These are the days where we must become a revolutionary people to live a revolutionary life.
Cahn is the author of The Harbinger, The Book of Mysteries, The Shemitah and now The Paradigm.
When biblical values reigned over the country, Cahn said the people of God operated in a David paradigm, as David ruled over Israel righteously.
But times have changed.
“Some of you are afraid of the end times, don’t be. If God didn’t want you in the end times, He would have put you in the Middle Ages. But He put you here and now. If He put you in the end times, then he’s anointed you for the end times. He will empower you for the end times,” Cahn said.
During his speech, Cahn also called for personal revival.
“It’s time to not only pray for revival, it’s time to start living in revival,” Cahn said. “Because when we start living in revival, revival will start living in us. And if that happens, the enemy cannot stop it. That is, if we turn from our evil ways. If there is anything in your life that should not be in the life of one so highly called today now before you go to bed is the time to get it out.”
His latest book, The Paradigm, discusses the eerie way Bill and Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Donald Trump fit into the biblical story of Ahab, Jezebel and Jehu.
And while the ancient blueprint makes for fascinating reading, Cahn said it applies today in more areas than politics.
“Above all, what The Paradigm tells you is God is real, God is amazing and God is over everything. He’s on the throne and He’s got no intention of vacating it,” Cahn said.
“God not only has a paradigm for the age, God has a paradigm for your life,” Cahn said. “…The only way you can find that paradigm, that destiny, is by fully committing your heart and your life in every way to the will of God. The more you do it, the more you’ll find it.”
