On the even of his film debut, actor Jim Caviezel issued a passionate plea to U.S. Christians on behalf of our persecuted brothers and sisters worldwide.
“The United States, we gotta as Christians, start not being afraid,” Caviezel says in a video that’s rapidly going viral.
Caviezel plays Luke in Paul, Apostle of Christ, which tells the story of the biblical hero who persecuted Christians until a dramatic encounter with Christ himself on the road to Damascus.
“In this film, what Paul says at the end is really powerful,” Caviezel says. “‘To live is Christ, to die is gain.’ We all die, man. It’s how you live your life.”
