Intercession Needed as Kim Kardashian Realizes Her Dating Habits Are ‘Not Working’

How many lives would be influenced if someone of Kim Kardashian’s fame invited Jesus into her heart?

There have been many celebrities over the years who have lived lives that were steeped in sin, as Christians have done as well, only to find that fame and fortune left them empty in their lives.

Nothing is impossible for God, including having His followers among Hollywood and the elite of society. Celebrities like Candace Cameron Bure, Christ Pratt and Justin Bieber have all confessed publicly to loving and believing in Jesus. Does that make them perfect? No. But to see that Kim Kardashian is realizing that something just is not right in her life is revealing. The possibility of the scales being lifted from her eyes opens the door for God to show her His amazing love that is second-to-none.

In a recent interview on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” she discussed taking a break to work on herself:

“I’m not looking,” the star told the host. “I just want to chill for a minute. I think I need some time to myself and to focus, finish school, all that.”

Kardashian has a tarnished past, as everyone who has heard of her knows. She has been called out by many because of the detrimental effect she has on young women who idolize her. Thankfully, no one is past redemption. It is encouraging to see someone of Kardashian’s renown begin to realize that all the wealth, fame and power that comes from serving the world amounts to nothing without God.

She went on to explain how she is going to try a different path moving forward, “But I think my next route will—I feel like I have to do something, like go to different places,” she added. “Clearly, it’s not working, whatever I’m doing.”

Someone in Kardashian’s position needs Christians to lift her up in prayer. She is surrounded on all sides by what the world offers, and is constantly being led by others to do what is best for her career. What is best for her career may be devastating to her soul.

Just last month the gossip channel “E! News” said a confidential source told them she was ready to start dating. This contradicts what she shared about recognizing the world’s way of dating and relationships have gotten her nowhere. The “source” even told E, “all of her friends are constantly trying to set her up.”

Those are not friends, and they are not helping her in anyway.

What Kardashian needs is a radical encounter with God. He will shower her in His love as Romans 5:8 declares, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

While some revile the Kardashian family for the content they have exposed generations to, Christians must set aside those emotions and lift up the family in prayer and intercede for them on the Lord’s behalf.

If the Satanic hold on that family is to be broken, intercession must be made. The apostle Paul commands this with the authority granted him by the Holy Spirit. In 1 Timothy 2:1-6, Christians are called to pray for everyone, including those in positions of influence and authority, because it is God’s desire to see all people be saved.

Someone of Kim Kardashian’s fame coming to Christ and confessing Him as her Savior and Lord would change generations. If Paul, who called himself the chief of all sinners, can be used of God so effectively, so too can Ms. Kardashian. {eoa}
