Hilton Hotels Removing All On-Demand Porn Movies

Hilton Worldwide just changed its policies on porn. The international hotel chain is putting the kibosh on all on-demand pornographic videos from all of its properties.

This is a breakthrough in the battle against porn and is generating plenty of applause from industry watchers. The National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) thanked Hilton for its decision to no longer seek profits from hardcore pornography, which by nature facilitates sexual exploitation.

“We want to publicly thank Hilton for its decision to create a safe and positive environment for all of its customers,” says Dawn Hawkins, executive director of NCOSE. “Hilton has taken a stand against sexual exploitation. Pornography not only contributes to the demand for sex trafficking, which is a serious concern in hotels, but it also contributes to child exploitation, sexual violence and lifelong porn addictions. The National Center on Sexual Exploitation applauds Hilton Hotels for recognizing these harms, and is glad to announce that Hilton Hotels will be removed from the Dirty Dozen List.”

This is a good start, but the battle is far from over. Hilton is no longer on NCOSE’s Dirty Dozen list of 12 leading contributors of sexual exploitation, but many other brands are, including: American Apparel, American Library Association, backpage.com, CKE Restaurants, Cosmopolitan magazine, Department of Justice, Facebook, Fifty Shades of Grey, Sex Week, Verizon and YouTube.
