Call him Andy Dwyer, Star-Lord or Owen, but actor Chris Pratt has a name he favors above all else: Child of God.

When a fan asked him to pray for a cancer patient, Pratt took the invitation a step further.

“The power of prayer saved my son. This boy Sam needs a miracle. Say a prayer for Sam. Even if you never have b4.Try.” Pratt told fans.

And when asked how to come before the throne, Pratt led them all in a simple, heart-felt prayer.

“Lord I pray for Sam. May you put your healing hand on him father. May his family find grace in this difficult time.” Pratt tweeted.

The Guardians of the Galaxy 2 star has been vocal about his faith before on social media.

During the Easter season, he and some friends carried and erected a cross to honor their Savior.

Pratt’s prayers for the child have been retweeted thousands of times.
