Franklin Graham Slams DOJ and FBI For Horrendous Actions Against Mark Houck

Evangelist Franklin Graham called out the Department of Justice and FBI, among others, earlier this week on social media for their unscrupulous raid on the home of Christian, pro-life activist Mark Houck.

The FBI arrested Houck last Friday, with dozens of agenda reportedly descending on his home with guns drawn, for protecting his oldest son from a Planned Parenthood volunteer at a peaceful protest in Philadelphia.

Houck’s wife and children looked on with shock as the head of the household was taken away, handcuffed in a belly chain.

Not only did Graham express his disdain for the FBI’s actions, he called out President Joe Biden and the entire Democratic Party for their abuse of power.

“It is extremely dangerous for President Biden and the Democratic Party to use the Department of Justice and the FBI to carry out its own progressive agendas,” Graham said on Facebook. “Pro-life advocate Mark Houck’s family was terrified when dozens of heavily armed FBI agents in 15 vehicles showed up at 7 a.m. The seven children were in tears as they witnessed guns pointed at their parents and their father was taken away in handcuffs.

“All of this because Mark Houck protected his oldest son from a Planned Parenthood volunteer. According to the family, Mark was at a peaceful demonstration with his 12-year-old son when the abortion advocate started saying crude and vulgar things to them. The family says the protester came too close to the boy, and that’s when Mark pushed the man back and he fell.

“One state senator wrote, ‘The continued weaponization of the FBI and persecution by Joe Biden’s DOJ against ordinary Americans is an outrage.’ I agree. Cases like this are about all of us. They could be knocking on any of our doors.”

Houck’s wife, Ryan-Marie, told LifeSite News that her husband pleaded with agents, “‘Please, I’m going to open the door, but, please, my children are in the home. I have seven babies in the house.’ But they just kept pounding and screaming. They had big rifles pointed at Mark and pointed at me and kind of pointed through the house.”

Some Republican lawmakers expressed their outrage on social media shortly after:

“I want to know from (US Attorney General) Merrick Garland directly why Biden’s DOJ is arresting Catholic protestors like terrorists—complete with SWAT-style tactics—while letting actual terrorist-like firebombings go unpunished,” Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley tweeted.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz tweeted, “This is absurd. A blatant, partisan abuse of power.”

Texas Rep. Chip Roy told “The Daily Signal,” “This appears to be nothing less than a brazen continuation of the abuse of power by federal authorities against average American citizens that must stop. We owe the American people congressional hearings to provide public and transparent accountability for any and all wrongdoing.”

Graham called for immediate prayer by believers.

“We need to pray for our nation as the radical left is getting its tentacles into the military, the FBI and much more,” Graham said. “Their goal is to one day have total control over all Americans—and our civil liberties would be lost forever.” {eoa}
