Elon Musk Tells Tucker Carlson: ‘I’ve Seen No Evidence of Aliens’

Space exploration is a subject with which Space X CEO Elon Musk is very familiar.

But when Fox News’ Tucker Carlson asked him if he’s ever “seen anything out there that suggests alien life,” he said he hadn’t or didn’t know about it, but said that doesn’t mean it’s not there.

“To the best of my knowledge, we’ve seen no evidence of conscious life anywhere in the universe,” Musk told Carlson. “It might be there. With physics, of course, there’s the Fermi Paradox. Enrico Fermi, an amazing physicist, asked the fundamental question, ‘Where are the aliens?’

“A lot of people ask me, ‘Where are the aliens?’ If anyone would know about aliens on earth, it would probably be me. I’m very familiar with space, and I’ve seen no evidence of aliens.”

But, Musk says, if he ever came across one, he would let the whole world know about it—immediately.

“I would tweet it out in a split second,” the new owner of Twitter says. “That would probably be the top tweet of all time. We found one, guys!” he joked. “It’s the jackpot with like eight billion lights.”

Musk recalled a story he heard about a general in the 1960s, while trying to expand the U.S. defense budget, who said, “Show us the aliens—Area 51. You know what would get no arguments from anyone? If we pulled out an alien (laughing) and said ‘We need money to protect ourselves from these guys.’ How much money do you want? They look dangerous.”

“There may be an invasion, it could be arriving at any time, who knows,” Musk joked.

But then Musk added to his statement that there is no evidence of conscious life elsewhere in the universe, “I hope there is, and I hope they are peaceful,” he said.

When Carlson asked him if we as human beings take our existence on Earth for granted, Musk agreed.

“We should not assume that civilization is robust,” Musk says. “If you look at the history of civilizations—the rise and fall of the ancient Egyptians, the ancient Samarians, Rome—there has been a life arc to civilizations just as there are to individual humans.

But that is not up to Musk, nor is it up to us. It’s up to God and His timing.

So, we must stop taking Him for granted.

Why not surrender to God right now and His grace, according to Romans 6:1-2 which says, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may about? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” {eoa}
