Candace Cameron Bure Hopes New Movie Will Put Audiences in the Christmas Spirit

With the Christmas season just around the corner, Candace Cameron Bure has a message for believers who haven’t been able to enjoy the holidays in the past.

“The hustle and bustle of the Christmas season will arrive before we know it,” says Bure, the star of GAC Media’s upcoming film titled “A Christmas … Present.” “But it’s through the quiet moments that we hear God speak to us, directing our path to what’s most important.”

Bure says she hopes her new film—her first venture with GAC after 14 years with the Hallmark Channel—will inspire others to embrace what Christmas is all about.

“The movie is about slowing down enough to recognize what’s right in front of our eyes,” Bure said, emphasizing the faith theme at the center of the story.

GAC has collaborated with Bure’s company, Candy Rock Entertainment, to produce “A Christmas … Present.”

“I’m so happy to announce that Candy Rock Entertainment is under way with their first Christmas movie of the season starring … me!” Bure said on Instagram.

Bure joined the GAC family in April, where she has taken on an executive role, Faithwire reported earlier this week.

“I’m very excited to develop heartwarming family and faith-filled programming and make the kind of stories my family and I love to watch,” she said earlier this year. “GAC fits my brand perfectly; we share a vision of creating compelling, wholesome content for an audience who wants to watch programming for and with the whole family.” {eoa}
