In this episode of “The Strang Report,” Stephen Strang has a compelling conversation with Mondo De La Vega of the PTL Network.
The two discuss Strang’s new book, “Spirit-Led Living in an Upside-Down World,” but in the last few moments of the broadcast, they turn their attention to legendary evangelist Anne Gimenez, who, along with her husband, John, founded the megachurch Rock Church in Virginia in 1968. Gimenez’s health is failing, and De La Vega extolls the many virtues of her life.
“Anne Gimenez is a legend in the Christian faith,” he says. ” Anne Gimenez has changed millions of people’s lives. She has led so many people to the Lord. … Right now, she’s really at the doorstep of heaven. The people that I know that have been close to her called her this morning, prayed with her and prayed over her.
“Here is a legend that changed the world,” De La Vega adds. “Her and her husband, John—you talk about consistency day in and day out. She is one of the greatest voices, one of the greatest ministers.”
John and Anne Gimenez appeared on the cover of “Charisma” magazine in 1988. John Gimenez went to be with the Lord in 2008.
