Satanists Suspected of Terrorizing English Church Using Witchcraft and Slaughtered Animals

The vicar of a 12th century church in Bramshaw, England says his congregation is terrified after church officials this week found a dead cat hanging from its flagpole a few weeks after finding a dead fox on the church’s doorstep.

Rev. David Bacon, who has been the target of suspected satanist in the recent past, says he suspects witchcraft is involved. Bacon said that women came to clean the church this week to prepare it for Christmas and found the dead cat.

“Every so often we get things like this. It makes everybody feel very uncomfortable,” Bacon told the U.K. Times.

Bacon said he suspects it is the same satanic group that, 2019, stabbed some sheep and sprayed them with pentagrams, and graffiti with the same occult markings were found on the church walls.

Bacon says he wouldn’t speculate whether or not the latest incidents are linked to the sheep killings three years ago.

“Those behind it could be ‘just angry at life in general, or against the church, or is it linked to witchcraft, I can’t say,” Bacon told the U.K. Times.

In January 2020, the London Telegraph reported that St. Botolph’s Church in the Lincolnshire countryside “was repeatedly desecrated by satanists, who regularly would break in to perform occult ceremonies and scatter the blood of sacrificed animals.”

“They sometimes bring chickens and slit their throats and the blood spills out all over,” Martin Chapman, a farmer who had been visiting the church site to clear the remnants, told the Telegraph. “It’s just escalated over the years. They damage and break things. … They smash graves. There is no fear. There’s a group of serious witches that come down.”

“Churches often have a palpable sense of God and goodness because they have been saturated with the prayers of people down through the ages,” says Justine Allain Chapman, archdeacon of Boston in the Diocese of Lincoln. … It’s important to remember that God’s blessing is stronger than any curse, and light more powerful than darkness.”
