Spirit-Filled Pastor: Why We Must Remember the Sacred Truth About Jesus This Easter

This weekend, we celebrate the greatest love story ever told. One of great sacrifice — the ultimate sacrifice.

It's a radical story of redemption in which we stake our faith: that Jesus gave His life for our sins and died, but rose again!

As we celebrate Easter and the victory of Jesus' resurrection, those of us at the Dream Center are celebrating the men and women going through recovery. These are folks who are finding new life while overcoming addiction and the struggles that come with it.

Was Israel Founded on Stolen Arab Land?

I was a workshop speaker at a Christian conference several years ago, and the topic was the history of Israel. In my short 20-minute message, I quickly reviewed how Israel was founded and the major wars and developments up to today. Afterward, a young man—probably a college student—approached me. Scratching his head and with a puzzled look, he said, "But I thought Israel was founded on stolen Arab land?"

It's a common accusation and misunderstanding—but a critical one to disprove because if it were true, the very founding of Israel would be illegal. How could Christians support such a thing? Let's consider a few facts to get to the truth.

Mark Twain's Observations

The famous travel writer and author of Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Mark Twain, went to the Holy Land in 1867 and documented the empty barrenness of the land in his book The Innocents Abroad. Here are a few of his observations:

Charlie Kirk Exposes 3 Anti-God Goals of the World Economic Forum

Charlie Kirk, host of The Charlie Kirk Show, believes world leaders and business titans are conspiring to destroy Western values and the U.S.' economic dominance. He met with Pastor Jack Hibbs at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills to talk about The Great Reset, a globalist plan he believes will alter the economy and society as a whole.

Pastor Hibbs prays, then asks Kirk to begin. "This is an intimidating topic for a lot of people," Kirk says. "And it's intimidating because when you just read the website of the people that are trying to execute The Great Reset, you feel like you're reading a conspiracy theory." Kirk continues, "I think that's actually part of the strategy."

Kirk acknowledges the potential complexity of approaching the subject, but reassures the audience that it doesn't have to be complicated. "So we've all heard the term 'globalists,'" Kirk says. "[Globalists] are people that do not believe in the sovereignty of nations. These are people who don't believe in borders." He explains, "They don't believe there should be any difference between between America or Brazil or Sierra Leone."
