Today show host Kathie Lee Gifford recently revealed that she reached out to both Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein following the horrific allegations leveled against them by several women. Despite receiving criticism for her actions, Gifford said she has known the men for years and is convinced that every person deserves mercy. With that being said, Gifford is very clear: she utterly condemns their behavior.

“I just want people to know I don’t judge them,” Gifford told Andy Cohen on Sirius XM. “I don’t like what they do, but God knows their hearts and there’s hope for them.”

Gifford argued that real friends don’t run for the hills when difficulties arise. {eoa}
